Italy is Disqualified From the World Cup!

Ever since I lived in Italy, my favorite soccer team was Italy. An Italian family invited my family to see Italy versing Slovakia on Thursday! If Italy wins or ties, Slovakia would be disqualified. If Slovakia wins Italy is disqualified. Finally, it was Thursday. I first ate dinner then I watched the soccer game. 20 minutes after the game started Slovakia scored. 1-0. For the rest of the first half Slovakia took shots but missed them, while Italy complained about fouls. after the second half started Slovakia scored. Everyone thought Italy had no chance of scoring.Luckily we were all wrong. After 32 minutes past the second half, Pirlo passed to Quagliarella. Quagliarella passed back to Pirlo, who shot. The goalie blocked it. Then, Di Natale ran after the ball and he kicked it. GOAL! 2-1. 5 minutes after Di Natale scored Quagliarella took a shot from far away. GOAL! 2-2! Right after Quagliarella scored, he went to get the ball in the goal to celebrate. Then the goaly punched Quagliarella right in the face! After Quagliarella got punched both teams got into a fist fight! When the fist fight ended the refree gave a yellow card both to the goalie and to Quagliarella. After Quagliarella and the goalie got a yellow card, Pirlo passed to Quagliarella. Quagliarella tapped the ball towards the goal. I jumped on the sofa and yelled, "GOAL!" WHAT! NO GOAL! WHY? OFF SIDES! The goalie took the offside kick, which the ball bounced off an Italian defender and went out of bounce. A Slovakian defender took the through in. He through the ball over the defenders' heads. Another Slovakian offender ran after the

ball, the goalie ran forward, and the Slovakian offender kicked the ball over the goalie's head into the goal. 3-2. I was so disappointed. Italy is disqualified from theWorld Cup and arrived in last place! At least now I have America and Germany to hope at least they win.
